  School : Communication

Our School believes that maintaining good line of communication betweenthe school and parents is critical to student success. Phone calls and notes are welcomed and encouraged. In addition to these valuable informal means, you can expect several other approaches to communication:

  • Channel Book

Daily communication between teachers and parents happens through the channel book. This communication includes lessons covered through the Day; specific notices about class or school events and comments on student’s behavior or academic progress. It is important that you read the channel book and sign it daily.

  • Circulars

Another form of communication with the school is circulars. They will be sent home periodically with your child. They contain important information. Reading them carefully will help you to know what is going on in the school.

  • Bulletin Board

Daily communication between teachers and parents happens through the channel book. This communication includes lessons covered through the Day; specific notices about class or school events and comments on student’s behavior or academic progress. It is important that you read the channel book and sign it daily.

  • Parent-Teacher Association (PTA)

The PTA is a service association that offers support to numerous school programs and activities and is a line of communication within the school community.

  • Parent-Teachers’ Meeting

These are opportunities for parents and teachers to discuss individual students. Monthly report cards will be given in advance which will allow parents to view the progress of their child and discuss it with teachers.

  • Complaints and Grievance Procedure

We attempt to treat all students, parents, and guardians fairly, equally, and in a consistent manner. In the unlike event that anyone has a complaint, they should FIRST approach the party’s superior by setting up an appointment via the headmistress. If the complaint cannot be resolved, the student, parent, or guardian should then make an appointment to see the principal’s Deputy. If the problem still cannot be resolved, an appointment with the Principal will be arranged.

  • Online Communication

The school has provided a further tool for flexible communication through the utilization of its online web solution. Parents are invited to send us all their comments, suggestions via the school web solution. They can also participate in the regularly updates votes. Furthermore, any parent can send his/her message to any teacher/specialist at school.
